Claverham Boy's Perform Well at Cheltenham

   
 
English Schools Team Event - Zone Finals


 The Claverham Under 13 Boy's team finally came to the end of their campaign at the Zone Finals in Cheltenham on 1st March.

The team competed extremely well to end up in 4th position but, as a result of a number of 'net's and edges' not going in their favour, could have just as easily ended the day in 2nd place.  That was how tight things were amongst three of the teams taking part in the event at Cheltenham.

Claverham's players gave an extremely good account of themselves with some excellent table tennis. Unfortunately one player had to miss the event due to an injury from which he was, however, it was acknowledged that he played a part in getting the team to this stage of the event.
