Battle Round Table Presentation to Battle Table Tennis Club Members

Member of Battle Table Tennis Club received a surprise gift of a brand new table tennis table recently. The gift was donated to the club by the Battle Round Table who were represented at the presentation by the Chairman, Steve  Millea  and committee member Mark Ellin. During the presentation the Round Table acknowledged the success of the club and its young people in both National Schools Competitions as well as in the National Cadet League as well as its work in providing an activity for the young people in the area. In response the Kevin Haffenden, founder and Head Coach at the club, thanked the organisation for its kind donation and explained that the table purchased would enable the club not only to cater for Wheel Chair bound players, but to increase participation by making its older tables available to local schools through the Rother Table Tennis Academies ‘Premier Schools Table Tennis Scheme’..
